  We are having a Hello Autumn hot packed lunch on Thursday 1st October.  Mrs Barcas is making burgers in buns and quorn sausages in finger rolls.  For the full menu please see our letters page.  Don't forget to let the school office know if you would like a special lunch on that day!

  A letter with information about home learning, the website and classes for next year has been posted on each class page. 

   

  We will keep you updated regarding announcements about when the school may re-open and which year groups this might involve.

• Coronavirus

  If your child is absent, we have Home Learning packs on each class page. There are lots of activities to choose from. 
  These packs will be updated each week. 
  If you would like any advice from your child’s class teacher, then you can contact him/her through the ‘Contact Us’ page of this website. We aim to respond within 24 hours (during the working week).  

• World Book Day 2020

  World Book Day will take place on Thursday 5th March this year.

  Our theme is 'Bedtime Story'. Come along in your pyjamas with your favourite bedtime story.

  If you wish to, come along dressed as your favourite character!

  

• Smoke Free Shuffle Roadshow

  DJ Danny and the NHS have joined together to present a Smoke Free Shuffle Roadshow at Asmall, this Friday 28th February.  Children from Years 1 - 6 will be involved in fun activities throughout the morning. 

  Parents are warmly invited to watch (and join in if you would like to!) at the following times:

  9.00 - 9.45     = Years 3 and 4

  10.00 - 10.45 = Years 5 and 6

  11.00 - 11.45  = Years 1 and 2

  

• Internet Safety Day 11th February 2020

  We have been learning about how to stay safe online.  The key message was to STOP, THINK and TELL SOMEONE.  The assembly powerpoint is in the children's section of this website.

• Sean Perkins author visit

  The children enjoyed our author day with Sean Perkins (a local author and illustrator) on Monday 27th January. 

  He went to all the classes in school to share his new book and to inspire all of our Asmall authors!

  Many children ordered books, which Sean came back to sign the following week.

   

   

  

• Flu Immunisation

  We have been asked to inform parents of the following flu catch up clinics and ask you to contact the Immunisation Team on:  0333 3593397 (Option 6) if you would like to book a slot for your child to have their nasal flu immunisation if they have missed having it in school.
