Phase 4
In Phase 4, no new sounds are introduced. The main aim of this phase is to consolidate the children's knowledge, and to help them learn to read and spell words which have adjacent consonants, such as trap, string and milk.

Fox's Warehouse Read the blends and help fox sort them.

Alien escape- phase 4 Help the alien escape to the spaceship! Look at each picture and move the letters to spell the word correctly.

Obb and Bob- Phase 4 Bob’ the alien loves real words, while his best friend ‘Odd’ loves fake words. Sound each word and try to give them their favourite treats!

Word Pairs- Phase 4 Can you match the picture cards to the word cards? Try to remember where you saw the two matching cards to find a pair.

Sentence Substituion- Phase 4 Read the sentence at the bottom then try replacing the words using the word blocks. Can you make a new sentence? Does it still make sense?
