Children's University
Asmall has been part of the Children's University for many years. Children earn points for activities which they do out of school throughout their time here. At the end of Years 2 and 6, children who have earned enough points will graduate in an awards ceremony, usually held at Edge Hill University.
Points can be gained in many ways, eg swimming lessons, attending an after school club, visiting museums or other places of interest, taking part in football training.
Children are encouraged to take part in a variety of activities and therefore only 10 hours of each activity can count towards their total hours each term.
Points are collected on a Children's University passport, available to buy from the school office.
