  I honestly can't be more proud of our children today. They have been awarded the Social Impact Schools Award which celebrates and showcases their commitment to social action and charity-work. Their dedication to making a positive impact on the world around them has been outstanding.

  A huge thank you to our Sports Council, who have designed our very own Asmall mascot! This is the first time we have had a mascot and I am sure you will agree, it is wonderful!
  Another big thank you to the Y1s, who helped with the assembly rules and the Y5s, who helped with the football rules.

  

• Design a Town

  Our School Council were invited to Lancashire Council Offices today, after they had designed their ‘ideal town’. They met with an official town planner and discussed their designs, which the planners will use to create a town plan for us! They even got to have cakes and drinks with the Mayor and Mayoress.

  Well done to our Y4 dodgeball team, who came 3rd out of 9 schools at the WLSP Dodgeball Tournament tonight! ⭐️

  

• Asmal 50 Year Anniversary

  We had a wonderful party day, celebrating Asmall’s 50 years. The children dressed in clothes from each decade (1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s) and performed a song from the decade too. We had a 1970s disco outside and a magician to entertain us. Thank you to everyone for coming along to support. A day to remember.
