Robinwood
Sat 10 Jul 2021Year 6 had a wonderful time at Robinwood Outdoor Activity Centre in Todmorden. They took part in a wonderful range of activities over the three days and their attitude and behaviour were a real credit to the school. Here are some of the photographs. Thanks to Miss Tinnion, Mrs Whitfiled, Miss Frankham and Mrs Yates for giving up their time.

Lots of classes took part in a nature trail around the edge of the campus
Everyone watched a film in the outdoor cinema
Our new reception children came to visit us on Thursday and Friday
Years 5 and 6 had an actual lecture in a lecture theatre - they learned all about the history of Edge Hill

Back to school 24th June
Wed 23 Jun 2021A huge THANK YOU to the staff and students of Edge Hill University who have made it possible for us to end our school year there. Whilst work begins to repair Asmall, we are moving sites to a wonderful building at Edge Hill for the last three weeks of term. We are going to make this into an amazing adventure for our children. We will continue our learning in a fabulous environment, where we will be able to access a wealth of resources ! We are excited to start tomorrow. Please see Class Dojo for details.

20th June
Sun 20 Jun 2021As many will already know, our school caught fire on Thursday evening. We have asked the children to stay at home on Monday and Tuesday whilst we make the necessary arrangements for the rest of the term.
Families are being regularly updated via our school app Class Dojo.
Thank you to the whole Ormskirk community for your messages of support and the donations we have received in the last two days. It is overwhelming.

She will visit each class during the week (virtually) and will read her new book, Got To Dance, to the children. She will also talk about being an author. Children have already had a separate letter inviting them to purchase her book for £1.
