  Thank you to families for supporting our Hello Yellow fundraiser.  We had a very brightly dressed set of school children who raised a total of £163 for Young Minds.

• Library Week

  Did you know that it is Library Week this week?  There are lots of activities going on at Ormskirk Library. Children can collect a reading explorers card and earn stickers towards a reading certificate. Why not check this out?

  Well done to Dollie and Lucy who represented Asmall at the SHARES Pupil Parliament event on Tuesday 29th September.  Thank you to Mrs Whitfield for organising.

  

• Harvest Thank You

  We had some super harvest assemblies.  Thank you to everyone who donated items - they have now been donated to the Ormskirk Food Bank.

   

  Well done to our children for contributing songs and poems.  It was lovely to be together in slightly larger groups and for the children to have an opportunity to perform to a small audience.  I was very proud of everyone today!

  We will be holding our usual Harvest Assembly this year and collecting for Ormskirk Food Bank  -  this time we will have smaller assemblies with groups of classes rather than the whole school together.

  The children really enjoyed wearing them. We even had our own graduation ceremonies for each class!

  Last week was Science Week. One of the activities was a Science Selfie competition. 
  we had lots and lots of entries and it was really difficult to choose winners. There was a prize for each class, presented by their teachers.
