At Asmall, we aim we aim to make music an enjoyable learning experience. We encourage children to participate in a variety of musical experiences which build up children’s confidence in music. We deliver an exciting and engaging music using elements of the of Kapow curriculum which is enriched by WOPs. Through this scheme, children not only learn about music; they become musicians who are able to share and perform using their new skills. We recognise that all children have a wide range of musical ability, and so we seek to provide suitable learning opportunities for all children by matching the challenge of the task to the ability of the child. Plans are adapted to suit the learning and interests within the class, to ensure all children are given the opportunities to achieve the learning objectives.
