Friends of Asmall

The Friends of Asmall are a group of parents, family, friends and staff who work together to provide enrichment activities for all our children at Asmall.

From subsidising school trips and paying for transport to organising social events, parties and the annual Summer Fair, our group of volunteers work tirelessly to give our children the best start at Asmall.

Meetings usually take place monthly, after school on Mondays. All parents are automatically members of Asmall Friends and are very welcome to come along to our meetings and events.

Easy ways to fundraise

Easyfundraising A great way to support Friends of Asmall, and it won't cost you a penny, is to create yourself an account on easyfundraising. Download the app onto your mobile phone or PC, search for our cause 'Friends of Asmall - Ormskirk' and every time you shop online, click on the relevant retailer via the easyfundraising page and a percentage of your total spend will be donated. It's that easy!

TerraCycle® and Colgate® free recycling programme This is temporarily unavailable during COVID restrictions... Asmall Primary School is a public drop-off collection point where anyone can take their TerraCycle waste for recycling. The oral care products and packaging collection then entitles us to points that can be redeemed into financial donations to the school. Another great way to raise much needed funds. Check out the Terracyle website for a list of items accepted. Please ring the school office for access to the drop-off point.

Bag2School - Donations to be received by school on the morning of Thursday 13th May 2021. Do you have any unwanted clothes and shoes? There's nothing wrong with them, you just won't wear them anymore. An easy way to raise money to fund school trips is to have a sort out of your wardrobe, fill the bag that was sent home with your child and drop off at the school office on the morning of Thursday 6th February.

Match Funding Can you help? If you or a family member work for a bank or company that is able to offer match funding for our school charity, then please let us know! Using match funding can help us increase the amount of money that we raise at an event for our children. For more detailed information please follow the link to the PTA website.

Asmall Lotto

Join the Asmall Lotto today and you could win great cash prizes whilst also raising money for our school. There are three draws per year, which means three chances to win; First prize £30, second prize £20 and third prize £10. It's just £10 per year or £5 for 6 months.
